PAPA SMURF IS
A COMMUNIST

Vive Le Capitalism!

I, like much of my peers, grew up watching Saturday cartoons. Among my favorites were G.I. Joe, Richie Rich, and the Smurfs. I loved them so much that I never missed a single episode. Now that I am older, I have realized that what I was watching was in actuality Communist Propaganda! It's true! Papa Smurf and all all the other smurfs are not the happy little creatures Hana Barbara would have us believe! The cartoon was created by Communists in order to make American children believe in the ideas & beliefs of Communism. This would help the Russians takeover the country in their future invasion. It is only thanks to shows like Richie Rich and G.I. Joe that taught kids the goodness of Capitalism.

What kind of name is Smurf anyway, you ask? Smurf was a clever name created by the Russians and actually stands for Socialist Men Under Red Father. The name fits. Look at the color of Papa Smurf's outfit!! It was chosen to be red in order to have the children of North America to associate the color red with a good thing. The Russians also had another reason for selecting this name. Besides just being the name of the little bastards, Smurf is also their last name! The name Smurf is very similiar to the most common North American name...Smith! We have all had a best friend or coach or teacher with the last name Smith. Hell your last name might be Smith! The communists wanted the Smurfs to have a name that North American Children would be at ease with thus making it easier the crush the spark of capitalism within them!!

Papa Smurf
(A.K.A. Stalin)

Do you see a resemblance between Papa Smurf and Marx?

Mabye Lenin?

Now for probably the most obvious but spooky link between the Smurfs and communism! Stalin, Lenin, and Marx must be the most common names associated with communism. But which one is Papa Smurf modeled after?

Many believe that it was Karl Marx, the 'inventor' of socialism. Marx believed in a society where everyone had a job to do and where everything is split up equally. Papa Smurf is the leader of a society very like that.

The fact that Papa Smurf was a leader makes others believe that he was modeled after Lenin. You must remember; Marx was the inventor while Lenin was the leader. The problem with this is that Lenin does not have that nice white bushy beard; his is more pointy and red. If Papa Smurf was not modeled after either one of these men, he must be a model of Stalin.

Stalin is most likely the man that Papa Smurf was modeled after. Marx believed more in the system of socialism not communism. The diffence between socialism and communism is that under the socialist system there are free elections for the leadership of the society whereas under the communist system there are no elections. I sure as hell don't remember Papa Smurf being elected leader nor was there ever an election to decide if he should remain leader. Stalin's appearance also highly resembles that of Papa Smurf. His beard may not be as perfect as that of Marx but look at that round face!!

Thank god for G.I. Joe & Richie Rich, who
helped young children to believe more in the ideals of Capitalism!
